Two Steps Forward..One Step to the side

Not back. Because back is when Diana gets worse. But let’s do good news first. 

Diana attended AP Gov and AP Bio for 6 days. Wahoo!!!! She even stayed late Monday for some tutoring and then came home and read her Biology book. And thank goodness it all makes sense to her. She seems to be retaining things so far! Up until yesterday, she was asking when she could go to AP Stats again and Seminary. 

She has gone to all of her therapies and done well in them. She can type still. It’s much slower than she used to type. We both were a little bothered by that, but she can type. 

Then Sunday she led at church and a fireside, sang in a musical number and celebrated her birthday. She did well with it all. 

Then yesterday afternoon she started asking repetitive questions and got a little disoriented again. Today her energy just gave out. She got dizzy with a headache at physical therapy this morning. So we came home for her to rest and she slept, missing school. 

So it seems that we found her limit.  But I still refuse to think she is going backwards. Just a little rest to the side of the healing journey is all. 

It’s wonderful to see so many of you when we are out and about! Thank you for the hugs! They give me strength! 

My mom comes next week and I am grateful she will be here!
